Our Team
Keith R. Hammel, LEED Green Associate
Founder
Keith is an expert draftsman with more than 25 years of experience across a variety of sectors and disciplines. After decades of working at some of the industry's top firms, Keith founded his own studio with the goal of providing specialized services for the architecture, engineering and construction industries. He is a rigorous problem solver and analytical thinker who excels at optimizing workflows to create efficient, accurate solutions.
Born and raised in New York, Keith has always had a passion for drawing and the built environment. His CAD experience dates back to high school where he quickly excelled at drafting programs and went from pupil to student lab teacher in less than a year. He began college at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City where he originally studied illustration before realizing his love of drawing was best suited in drafting. He began his career in drafting at an interior architecture firm that was designing stores across the country for a major national retailer, which propelled him into the industry.
After seeing the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina, Keith moved to New Orleans for two years to help the city rebuild. He used his skills to help construct schools and healthcare facilities, and coordinated with FEMA to meet special project requirements. Witnessing the widespread devastation and the complexity of recovery effort renewed Keith's passion for how design can be used as a force for good.
Upon returning to New York, Keith has built his career by staying on the pulse of a changing industry. His work supporting architecture, engineering, and technology consulting firms encompassing all phases from schematic design through construction administration. His commitment to best practices and deep knowledge of drafting tools has made him a sought-after consultant who works with clients in New York City and beyond.
Keith is a LEED Green Associate, certified AutoCAD instructor, and expert in implementing standards based on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the United States National CAD Standards (NCS). He lives with his wife and children in Westchester County, New York.
Keith's CAD illustrations have been published in the likes of the Journal of Chromatography and the Architectural Graphics Standards, Eleventh Edition.

Justin Wolff
Design Technology Specialist
Justin brings his extensive technical savvy and problem-solving skills to KRH Drafting. He works with the team to create AutoCAD drawings and Revit models, as well as identify and mitigate risks. Justin serves as a client liaison to confirm deliverables and timelines, and to resolve design and technology issues in a timely manner.
Prior to joining KRH, Justin was the Head Draftsman at a drafting company where he produced architectural drawing packages from schematic designs through construction documents. He streamlined projects by keeping a standards library to establish consistency and created templates to reinforce branding. He ensures quality control on all projects by conducting research such as looking up building codes and adhering to CAD standards in accordance with AIA and NCS guidelines.
Born and raised in New York, Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University where he explored urban planning, model building, and creating design methodologies that use efficient processes to deliver beautiful results. In his spare time Justin enjoys photography and being outdoors.
